This service information has been designed to facilitate power window repairs and reduce the amount of unnecessary power window regulator assembly replacements. The motor and frame components of the power window assembly are now available separately as established service parts and should be replaced according to the attached repair procedure.

Customers complaining of power window regulator malfunction or unusual noise should have their vehicle repaired using the following procedure.
