Air Bag Arming and Disarming Procedures

DISARMING
1. Obtain audio unit anti-theft code number.
2. Turn ignition switch to Off position and disconnect battery ground cable.
3. Disconnect air bag control module connectors. Wait at least ten minutes before performing diagnosis or service procedures.

ARMING
1. Connector air bag control module connectors and battery ground cable.
2. Turn ignition switch to On position and ensure SRS warning lamp lights for four to eight seconds, then goes off.
