Input/Turbine Speed Sensor

Input/Turbine Speed Sensor:

INPUT/TURBINE SPEED SENSOR
- If there is no input signal from the input/turbine speed sensor, diagnostic trouble code P0715 is displayed by the on-board diagnostic system and O/D OFF mode is canceled.
- If a malfunction occurs in the input/turbine speed sensor, shifting is made based on signals from speedometer.
- If a malfunction occurs in the input/turbine speed sensor and vehicle speedometer sensor at the same time, shift solenoid A, B and 0 go to OFF, and D and 2 ranges go to third gear position. 1 range goes to first gear position, and torque converter clutch operation is inhibited.
