Fuel Pump: Service and Repair

Disassembly / Assembly
1. Remove the fuel tank assembly.
2. Remove the fuel pump assembly.
3. Disassemble in the order shown in the figure. (Refer to NOTE below)
4. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly. (Refer to NOTE below)

Fuel Pump Exploded View:

1. Bracket
2. Rubber mount
3. Fuel pump
4. Fuel filter (low-pressure side)
5. Fuel pump (transfer)

NOTE: Remove/ Install the fuel pump assembly from the fuel tank by using the special service tool (SST) as shown.




Torque the union nut (pump retainer) to specifications.

Torque: 93-103 Nm (68-76 ft.lb.)
