Engine - Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair

ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR
Inspection




1. Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor.
2. Discard old sealing washer.
3. Install engine coolant temperature sensor using a new sealing washer.
4. Torque the engine coolant temperature sensor to specifications.

Tighting torque: 16-23 Nm (12-17 ft-lb)
