EGR Valve: Testing and Inspection

INSPECTION
- Start the engine and let it idle.
- Connect a vacuum pump as shown and apply vacuum.
- Verify that the engine runs roughly or stalls at the specified vacuum.

Specification: 8.7 - 10.6 kPa (2.6 - 3.1 in. Hg.)

- If not as specified, replace the EGR valve.
