Air Cleaner Housing: Testing and Inspection

1. Remove air filter element from air cleaner box and visually inspect the housing for holes or cracks that would allow air to enter, bypassing the air flow meter.

2. Check intake ducts and hoses for unmeasured air leaks (air entering the intake system through other than the air flow meter). Repair or replace as necessary.
