Ignition Cable: Testing and Inspection

HIGH-TENSION LEAD INSPECTION
1. Use an ohmmeter to measure the resistance of each lead.

Resistance: 16 K ohms per 1.00 m (3.28ft)

2. If not as specified, replace the high-tension lead.

CAUTION: Reinstall the high-tension leads to their original positions. Incorrect installation can damage the leads and cause power loss, and negatively effect electronic components.
