Ignition Cable: Testing and Inspection

CAUTION: Reinstall the high-tension leads to their original positions. Incorrect installation can dam the leads and cause power loss, and negatively effect electronic components.

Inspection




1. Measure the resistance of the high-tension leads.

Specification: 16 k-ohms per 1.00 m (3.28 ft)

2. If not as specified, replace the high-tension lead.
