Transmission Position Sensor/Switch: Adjustments
1. Remove the selector rod from the manual shaft lever.
2. Move the manual shaft to the N position.
3. Loosen the transaxle range switch mounting bolts.
4. Align the holes of the transaxle range switch and the manual shaft lever by inserting a pin with an outer diameter of approximately 4.0 mm (0.157 inch).
5. Tighten the transaxle range switch mounting bolts to 2.5 - 3.9 Nm (22 - 34 inch lbs.) and remove the pin.
6. Recheck the continuity of the transaxle range switch.
7. If not correct, replace the transaxle range switch.
8. Install the selector rod to the manual shaft lever.
