DESCRIPTION

The door mirror, manual type (non-power), may vibrate when driving, idling in gear or closing the door. This is caused by excessive clearance between the door mirror base and base frame detent. A modified mirror (produced after October 14, 1997) is available to repair this concern.

Customers complaining of this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

1. Verify customer complaint.

2. Replace mirror with modified mirror.

3. Verify repair.
