DESCRIPTION
During routine diagnosis, Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P1631 may be retrieved. PCM logic is designed to NOT illuminate the MIL when P1631 is stored in Powertrain Control Module (PCM). P1631 is stored in the PCM when alternator output is low or when the engine RPM drops due to improper clutch operation.
To prevent the PCM from storing the DTC mistakenly, the PCM logic has changed.
