Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures

- Use the chart to verify the symptoms of the trouble in order to diagnose the appropriate area.

NOTE
- If multiple malfunctions simultaneously occur, diagnose the symptoms in numerical order, beginning with the smallest number first.

NOTE
- For the steps which have an asterisk (*), shake the wiring harness which is connected to the connector while performing the inspection. (The cause of the malfunction may be a poor connection of the connector, terminal or wiring harness.)

Symptom Charts




1. Control system does not operate or illuminate.




2. Each actuator does not operate and indicator light of each switch does not illuminate (logic type only).







3. A/C compressor idle-up operates, but magnetic clutch and condenser fan do not operate.




4. Air intake actuator does not operate (logic type only).







5. Airflow mode actuator does not operate (logic type only).







6. Magnetic clutch, condenser fan, and A/C compressor idle-up do not operate.




7. Only magnetic clutch does not operate.




8. Only condenser fan does not operate.




9. Magnetic clutch, condenser fan, and A/C compressor idle-up operate, but cool air does not discharge or air cooling ability is low.
