Fuel Filter: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
Remove particles from fuel that may cause component damage and/or clog fuel passages.

OPERATION
System is designed so that fuel passes through the two filters before reaching injection components on engine.

CONSTRUCTION
Low Pressure Side
Nylon element type on fuel pump.

High Pressure Side
In-line metal canister type with paper filter element.
