Time Lag Test
1. Shift the selector from N position to D range.
2. Use a stopwatch to measure the time it takes from shifting until shock is felt.
3. Shift the selector lever to N position and run the engine at idle speed for at lest 1 minute
4. Do the time lag test for the following shifts in the same manner. Make three measurements for each test and average the results.
5. While depressing the brake pedal, perform the test for the following shifts in the same manner. Time lag N position->D range should be approximately 0.5 - 0.6 seconds, N position->2 range should be approximately 0.5 - 0.7 seconds, and N position->R position should be approximately 0.6 - 0.7 seconds.
