DESCRIPTION
Swing louvers do not operate due to the swing louver link(s) being disconnected at the vent grille(s). This is caused by the links being manufactured too short. A modified swing louver motor is available with links 2 mm longer.

Customers complaining of this subject should have the vehicle inspected and if necessary, install the modified part in accordance with this procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

1. Verify customer complaint.

2. Using a flashlight, inspect the link connection through the vent grilles to confirm that the link is disconnected.

3. Replace only the swing louver motor according to Workshop Manual. Re-use the original vent grilles.
