Idle Air Control (IAC) Valve Inspection

1. Verify that the ignition switch is OFF.
2. Disconnect the IAC valve connector.
3. Measure the resistance between the IAC valve terminal by using an ohmmeter.

Resistance: 7.7-9.3 ohms @ 23°C (73.4°F)

4. If not as specified, replace the IAC valve.
