T002/98UNINTENDED SEAT BELT WARNING BUZZER
1998 626 with a VIN of 1YVGF22C*W5714105 and lower without keyless entry.
DESCRIPTION
The seat belt warning buzzer may sound if any of the following switches are aggressively flipped when the seat belt is not fastened:
^ Remote Control Mirror Switch
^ Power Window Switch
^ Washer Switch
This concern does not occur during normal operation of these switches. To correct this condition, the CPU circuit board has been modified.
Customers complaining of this concern should have the vehicle inspected and if necessary, have the new CPU installed.
