Dimmer Switch: Testing and Inspection

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the panel light control switch
3. Measure the resistance of terminals A - B and B - D of the panel light control switch.




4. Verify that the resistance changes from 0 to 100 K Ohms as shown in the figure when the panel light control switch is rotated from left to right.
5. If not as specified, replace the panel light control switch.
