Door Locks: Testing and Inspection

1. Remove the door lock timer unit from its support bracket.
2. Disconnect the door lock timer unit connector.
3. Check for continuity between the terminals of the door lock timer unit connector.







(Unlock all door types)







(Unlock only driver's side type)

4. Reconnect the door lock timer unit connector.
5. Measure the voltage at the terminals of the door lock timer unit connector with the following terminals connected to ground.







(Unlock all door types)







(Unlock only driver's side type)


6. If not as specified, replace the door lock timer unit.
