Transmission Speed Sensor: Testing and Inspection

INPUT/TURBINE SPEED SENSOR INSPECTION (GF4A-EL)
Inspection of Resistance
1. Refer to "Service and Repair" to disconnect the input/turbine speed sensor connector.





2. Measure the resistance between the terminals of the input/turbine speed sensor.

Resistance 253 - 604 Ohms (ATF temperature: -40 - 160°C (-40 - 320°F))

3. If not correct, replace the input/turbine speed sensor.
4. Refer to "Service and Repair" to connect the input/turbine speed sensor connector.
