REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. Remove the splash shield(s).
2. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Stabilizer Bracket Removal Note





1. Support the crossmember by using a jack.
2. Remove the crossmember installation bolts and nuts.
3. Lower the crossmember to gain clearance.
4. Remove the stabilizer bracket.

Stabilizer Bushing Installation Note
1. Apply rubber grease to the inside surface of the stabilizer bushing.





2. Align the bushing with the stopper on the stabilizer.

2. Adjust the front wheel alignment.

STABILIZER CONTROL LINK INSPECTION
1. Inspect for bending and damage.





2. Measure the ball joint starting torque.
(1) Shake the ball joint stud from side to side 10 times.
(2) Rotate the ball joint stud 10 times.
(3) Measure the starting torque by using an Allen socket and a torque wrench.

Starting torque: 0.1 - 2.9 Nm (0.9 - 26 inch lbs.).

3. If not within the specification, replace the stabilizer control link.
