1. Connect the SST (NGS) to the data link connector-2 and battery.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
3. Check the diagnostic trouble codes, referring to the SST (NGS) instruction manual.
4. If a diagnostic trouble code is displayed, check for the cause by using the number on the diagnostic trouble code table. (Repair as necessary.)
5. Following the repairs, perform the After Repair procedure to verify that there are no remaining codes.
