Headlamp: Adjustments

Vertical-horizontal Aiming Method
1. Adjust the tire air pressure to the specification.
2. Fill the fuel tank and remove excess cargo.
3. Position the unloaded vehicle on a flat, level surface.
4. Rock the vehicle by hand several times.
5. Seat one person in the driver's seat.
6. Set the distance between the headlight and the wall to 3 m (10 ft).
7. While adjusting one headlight, disconnect the connector of the other one.




8. Adjust the headlights by turning the adjusting screws.

NOTE:
^ If the adjusting screws are tightened first, then loosened, they may continue to loosen when the vehicle is in motion and cause the headlights to become misaligned.
