Removal and Installation

FUEL PUMP REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

1. Complete the "BEFORE REPAIR PROCEDURE". (Refer to SERVICE PRECAUTIONS.)
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Remove the rear seat cushion.




4. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
5. Install in the reverse order of removal and note the following:

1. Push the ends of the fuel hoses onto the respective fittings at least 25 mm (1.0 in).
2. Be sure the fuel hoses are not bent or twisted.

6. Complete the "AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE". (Refer to SERVICE PRECAUTIONS.)
