Sunroof / Moonroof: Adjustments

1. Measure the gap and height between the glass panel and body panel.
2. If not as specified, adjust the gap and height.

Gap Adjustment
1. Open the glass panel about 100 mm {3.9 in} from the fully closed position.
2. Pull up on the weather strip surrounding the section which is to be measured.
3. Fully close the glass panel.
4. Remove the lower panel cover.
5. Loosen the glass panel installation nuts and reposition the glass panel.
6. Tighten the glass panel installation nuts.

Tightening torque
7.9-10.7 N.m
{80-110 kgf.cm, 69.5-95.4 in.lbf}

7. Install the lower panel cover.
8. Open the glass panel and install the weatherstrip.

Height Adjustment
1. Open the glass panel about 100 mm {3.9 in) from the fully closed position.
2. Pull up on the weatherstrip surrounding the section which is to be measured.
3. Fully close the glass panel.
4. Remove the lower panel cover.
5. Loosen the lower panel installation screws and reposition the glass panel.
6. Tighten the lower panel installation screws.

Tightening torque
2.5-3.4 N.m {25-35 kgf.cm, 22-30 in.lbf}

7. Install the lower panel cover.
8. Open the glass panel and install the weatherstrip.
