Variable Induction Control Actuator: Testing and Inspection

VICS SHUTTER VALVE ACTUATOR INSPECTION





1. Connect a vacuum pump to the VICS shutter valve actuator as shown.
2. Apply vacuum of 4.0 kPa (30 mmHg) and verify that the rod is pulled into the actuator.
3. Apply vacuum of 25.3 kPa (190 mmHg) and verify that the actuator opens completely (rod fully pulled in).
4. If not as specified, replace the VICS shutter valve actuator.
