Power Trunk / Liftgate Lock Actuator: Testing and Inspection

TRUNK LID LOCK ACTUATOR INSPECTION

NOTE: The trunk lid lock actuator is built into the trunk lid lock.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Open the trunk lid.
3. Disconnect the trunk lid lock actuator connector.




4. Apply battery positive voltage to the trunk lid lock actuator terminals and check the operation of the trunk lid lock actuator.
- If not as specified, replace the trunk lid lock.
