How to Clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes - ABS With Traction Control

Clearing DTCs Procedure





1. Connect the Special Service Tool (SST) (NGS tester) to the data link connector and select READ/CLEAR DIAGNOSTIC TEST RESULTS in the same procedure as the reading DTCs procedure. Press the trigger key to enter this selection.
2. Press CLEAR.
3. Press the trigger key.

Note After repairing the ABS wheel-speed sensor or pump motor, the ABS warning light may not go off when ignition is switched to ON. In this case, drive the vehicle at a speed of more than 10 km/h (6.2 mph). After the ABS warning light goes off, reset the memory.
