TRUNK LID ADJUSTMENT

Gap and Height
1. Remove the trunk lid striker.




2. Measure the gap and height between the trunk lid and the body.
- If not as specified, loosen the trunk lid hinge installation nuts and the trunk lid striker installation bolts, and reposition the trunk lid.

3. Hand-tighten the trunk lid striker installation bolts.
4. Tighten the bolts and nuts.
5. Adjust the trunk lid striker.

Tension

NOTE: The trunk lid should raise 70 - 300 mm {2.8 - 11.8 in} when the trunk lid is unlocked.




- Slide the balance spring to the desired position as described by using a tape-wrapped screwdriver.
