EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [KL]

Warning: When the engine and exhaust system are hot, they can badly burn. Turn off the engine and wait until they are cool before removing or installing the exhaust system.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Heated Oxygen Sensor (Front RH), Heated Oxygen Sensor (Front LH) Removal Note





1. Use the SST to remove the H02S.

Warm Up Three Way Catalytic Converter (RH (California emission applicable model)), Warm Up Three Way Catalytic Converter (LH (California emission applicable model)) Installation Note





1. Tighten the bolts and nuts in the order shown.
Tightening torque: 16 - 22 Nm (1.6 - 2.3 kgf-m, 12 - 16 ft. lbs.)

Heated Oxygen Sensor (Front RH), Heated Oxygen Sensor (Front LH) Installation Note





1. Use the SST to install the H02S.
Tightening torque: 29 - 49 Nm (3.0 - 5.0 kgf-m, 22 - 36 ft. lbs.)
