Hood: Adjustments

1. Remove the hood lock.




2. Measure the gap and height between the hood and the front fender panel.
- If not as specified, adjust the gap and height.

3. Install and adjust the hood lock.

Gap




1. Loosen the hood installation bolts and reposition the hood.
2. Tighten the hood installation bolts.

Height




- Turn the stop rubber to adjust the height of the hood.




1. Verify that the hood can be closed easily and that there is no looseness.
- If not correct, loosen the hood lock installation bolts and nut, and move the hood lock horizontally or vertically.

2. Tighten the hood lock installation bolts and nut.
