Steps 1 - 5:





Diagnostic Procedure

^ When performing an asterisked (*) troubleshooting inspection, shake the wiring harness and connectors while doing the inspection to discover whether poor contact points are the cause of any intermittent malfunctions. If there is a problem, check to make sure connectors. Terminals and wiring harness are connected correctly and undamaged.

Caution Recheck the diagnostic trouble code after repair completion.

Note
^ The ABS warning light normally illuminates for 2-4 seconds after ignition switch is turned to ON.
^ If any symptoms have occurred in the past but are now okay, malfunction of related harness could be the possible cause and thus ABS CM is normal.
