Rear

WHEEL HUB, HUB SPINDLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Caution
Performing the following procedures without first removing the ABS wheel-speed sensor may possibly cause an open circuit in the harness if it is pulled by mistake. Before performing the following procedures, remove the ABS wheel-speed sensor (axle side) and fix it to an appropriate place where the sensor will not be pulled by mistake while servicing the vehicle.
Leave the nuts on the ball joint studs until removing the axle component. This will keep the axle weight distributed evenly and prevent damage to the link bushings.

1. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
2. Install in the reverse order of removal.

BRAKE CALIPER COMPONENT REMOVAL NOTE

1. Suspend the brake caliper component as shown in the figure.

ABS SENSOR ROTOR REMOVAL NOTE

ABS SENSOR ROTOR INSTALLATION NOTE

1. Install a new rear ABS sensor rotor onto the wheel hub.

2. Using a steel plate and the SST, press the rotor on until it is flush with the wheel hub.
