After Repair Procedure

AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE [GF4A-EL]

Caution
- After repairing a malfunction, perform this procedure to verify that the malfunction has been corrected.
- When this procedure is carried out, be sure to drive the vehicle at lawful speed and pay attention to the other vehicles.

1. Connect the SSTs (NGS tester) to the DLC-2.
2. Turn the ignition key to ON (engine OFF).
3. Select the clear code function and clear the DTC.
4. Perform the following DTC inspections to ensure that the DTC has been resolved:
- For P0500
i. Start the engine.
ii. Warm up until the engine coolant temperature is 60° C (140° F) or above.
iii. Access TURBINE, 1GR, and D SW PIDs using the SSTs (NGS tester).
iv. Drive the vehicle under the following conditions for 16 seconds or more while monitoring PIDs.
- TURBINE PID: 1,500 rpm or above
- 1GR PID: ON
- GD SW PID: ON
v. Go to Step 5.
- For P0705
i. Start the engine.
ii. Access RPM, D SW, S SW, L SW, R SW, and TR SW PIDs using the SSTs (NGS tester).
iii. Drive the vehicle in each range (P. R, N, D, S. and L) for 100 seconds or more under the following condition.
- RPM PID: 530 rpm or above
iv. Go to Step 5.
- For P0706;
i. Start the engine.
ii. Access RPM, VS, D SW, S SW, and L SW PIDs using the SSTs (NGS tester).
iii. Drive the vehicle in each range (D, S, and L) under the following conditions for 100 seconds while monitoring PIDs.
- RPM PID: 530 rpm or above
- VS PID: 20 km/h(12 mph)
iv. Go to Step 5.
- For P0710
i. Start the engine.
ii. Access VS PID using the SSTs (NGS tester).
iii. Drive the vehicle under the following condition for 100 seconds or more while monitoring PID.
- VS PID: 20 km/h (12 mph)
iv. Go to Step 5.
- For P0711
i. Decrease ATF temperature to 20° C (68° F) or below.
ii. Start the engine.
iii. Access VS PID using the SSTs (NGS tester).
iv. Drive the vehicle under the following condition for 430 seconds or more while monitoring PIDs.
- VS PID: 60 km/h (37 mph)
v. Go to Step 5.
- For P0715
i. Start the engine.
ii. Access VS PID using the SSTs (NGS tester).
iii. Drive the vehicle under the following condition for 1 second or more while monitoring PID.
- VS PID: 41 km/h (25 mph) or above
iv. Go to Step 5.
- For P0731
i. Start the engine.
ii. Warm up the engine and ATX.
iii. Access VS,1 GR, TP V, D SW, and O/DF LP PIDs using the SSTs (NGS tester).
iv. Drive the vehicle under following condition for 15 seconds or more while monitoring PIDs.
- VS PID: Within 8 km/h (5 mph 48 km/h (30 mph)
- 1GR PID: ON
- D SW PID: ON
- O/DF LP PID: OFF
- TP V PID: 1.1 V or above
v. Repeat Step iii five times.
vi. Go to Step 5.
- For P0732
i. Start the engine.
ii. Warm up the engine and ATX.
iii. Access VS, 2GR, D SW, TURBINE, TP V, and O/DF LP PIDs using the SSTs (NGS tester).
iv. Drive the vehicle while monitoring PIDs.
- VS PID: Within 10 km/h (6 mph 87 km/h (54 mph)
- DSW PID: ON
- 2 GR PID: ON
v. Repeat Step iii four times.
vi. Go to Step 5.
- For P0733
i. Start the engine.
ii. Warm up the engine and ATX.
iii. Access VS, 3GR, D SW, and O/DF LP PIDs using the SSTs (NGS tester).
iv. Drive the vehicle under the following condition for 5 seconds or more while monitoring PIDs.
- VS PID: Within 27 km/h (17 mph) 48 km/h (30 mph)
- 3GR PID: ON
- DSW PID: ON
- O/DF LP PID: OFF
v. Go to Step 5.
- For P0734
i. Start the engine.
ii. Warm up the engine and ATX.
iii. Access VS, 4GR, D SW, and O/DF LP PIDs using the SSTs (NGS tester).
iv. Drive the vehicle under the following conditions for 15 seconds or more while monitoring PIDs.
- VS PID: Within 77 km/h (48 mph 104 km/h (64 mph)
- 4GR PID: ON
- D SW PID: ON
- O/DF LP PID: OFF
v. Go to Step 5.
- For P0740
i. Start the engine.
ii. Warm up the engine and ATX.
iii. Access VS, 4GR, D SW, and TCC CON PIDs using the SSTs (NGS tester).
iv. Drive the vehicle under the following conditions for 15 seconds or more while monitoring PIDs.
- VS PID: Within 76 km/h 47 mph 104 km/h (64 mph)
- 4GR PID: ON
- D SW PID: ON
- O/DF LP PID: OFF
- TCC CON PID: ON
v. Go to Step 5.
- For P1743
i. Start the engine.
ii. Drive the vehicle in D range and make sure that the gears shift smoothly from 1GR to 4GR and TCC is operated.
iii. Go to Step 5.
- For P0745
i. Start the engine.
ii. Drive the vehicle in D range 1 GR.
iii. Go to Step 5.
- For P0750, P0755, P0760, P1765
i. Start the engine.
ii. Drive the vehicle in D range and make sure that the gears shift smoothly 1GR to 4GR.
iii. Go to Step 5.
5. Gradually slow down and stop the vehicle.
6. Make sure that the repaired DTC does not recur.
