How to Clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes

NOTE: This is the only information provided by the manufacturer for clearing trouble codes for this system.

Clearing DTCs Procedure
1. Start past diagnostic test mode.




2. Press the AUTO and REC/FRESH switches on the climate control unit at the same time. Past failure memory will be erased and "1" will be indicated on the SST (49 T088 001).

Output Device Operation Check Mode
1. Warm up the engine.
2. Start present diagnostic test mode.
3. Start the engine.




4. Press the AUTO switch and start output device operation check mode.

Output Device Operation Check Table:

In output device operation check mode, all output devices, indicator lights, and the information display operate individually according to a designated pattern, as shown in the figure. Each step is changed by pressing the REC/FRESH switch. When the AUTO switch is pressed again, the OBD function will return to present DTM.
