Present Diagnostic Test Mode

NOTE: This is the only information provided by the manufacturer for reading trouble codes for this system.

1. Shine a 60 W incandescent light from a height of approximately 100 mm {3.9 in} onto the solar radiation sensor.

NOTE: When incandescent light is not shining on the solar radiation sensor, the A/C amplifier determines a malfunction and indicates a DTC

2. Hook-up the SST (NGS tester) to the vehicle.
3. Turn the ignition switch to ON.




4. Set the SST (49 T088 003) to AUX 1.





5. Move the cursor to VEHICLE AND ENGINE SELECTION and press the trigger key.




6. Move the cursor to SELECT NEW VEHICLE YEAR & MODEL and press the trigger key.




7. Move the cursor to 2000_VIN # 10:Y and press the trigger key.




8. Move the cursor to appropriate model and press the trigger key.
9. The vehicle selection screen showing the selected vehicle will be displayed. Move the cursor to the vehicle selected and press the trigger key.




10. Move the cursor to DIAGNOSTIC DATA LINK in the main menu screen and press the trigger key.




11. Move the cursor to A/C-AIR CONDITIONER MODULE and press the trigger key.




12. Move the cursor to DIAGNOSTIC TEST MODE and press the trigger key.
13. Press the START key.
14. Press the trigger key and start present diagnostic test mode.
- If the system is normal, SYSTEM PASSED, (NO DTCS AVAILABLE) will be indicated.
- If any DTC is indicated, follow the appropriate DTC troubleshooting chart.
