Resistor and Relay Inspection

Resistor




1. Disconnect the fuel pump resistor and relay connector. Measure the resistance between terminals A and B using an ohmmeter.
- If not as specified, replace the fuel pump resistor and relay (speed).

Specification: 0.38 - 0.42 Ohms.

Relay

Specification:

1. Disconnect the fuel pump resistor and relay connector.
2. Apply battery positive voltage and inspect continuity between terminals of the relay using an ohmmeter.
- If not as specified, replace the fuel pump resistor and relay (speed).
