Transmission Case and 6TH Component Disassembly

DISASSEMBLY
- Disassemble in the order indicated in the table.

Snap Ring Disassembly Note





- Remove the snap ring using two screwdrivers and a hammer.

Inner Shift Lever Disassembly Note





- Attach a screwdriver as shown in the figure; then remove the inner shift lever by tapping the shift rod with a plastic hammer.

Clutch Hub Component (6th) Disassembly Note





- Remove the clutch hub component (6th) and the 6th shift fork together using the SST.

Spring Pin Disassembly Note
1. Install the SST into the bearing cover component and secure it in a vise.





2. Use a pin punch and a hammer to remove the spring pin.

Clutch Hub Sleeve Disassembly Note





- Remove the clutch hub sleeve covering the clutch hub component with a rag to prevent the steel ball and synchronizer key spring from popping out.
