Inspection Using an Oscilloscope (Reference) Purpose




Vehicle Speed Signal
- PCM terminal: 1C(+)-4AN(-)
- Oscilloscope setting: 2V/DIV (Y), 20 ms/DIV (X), DC range mph]
- Vehicle condition: Driving speed 20km/h [12.4 mph]




Engine Speed Signal
- PCM terminal: 1AJ(+)AD(-)
- Oscilloscope setting: 2 V/DIV (Y), 10 ms/DIV (X), DC range
- Vehicle condition: idle after warm up




Pressure Control Solenoid Signal
- PCM terminal: 2H(+)-4D(-)
- Oscilloscope setting: 2 V/DIV (Y), 10 ms/DIV (X), DC range
- Vehicle condition: idle after warm up




Input/Turbine Speed Signal
- PCM terminal: 2P(+)-2T(-)
- Oscilloscope setting: 0.5 V/DIV (Y), 2 ms/DIV (X) AC range
- Vehicle condition: idle after warm up




HO2S Signal (Front RH/LH)
- PCM terminal: 31, 3M(+)-3AB(-)
- Oscilloscope setting: 0.2 V/DIV (Y), 0.2 s/DIV (X), DC range
- Vehicle condition: idle after warm up




SGC Signal
- PCM terminal: 4F(+)-4D(-)
- Oscilloscope setting: 2 V/DIV (Y), 200 ms/DIV (X), DC range
- Vehicle condition: idle after warm up




IAC Control Signal
- PCM terminal: 4AA(+)-4W(-)
- Oscilloscope setting: 2 V/DIV (Y), 2 ms/DIV (X), DC range
- Vehicle condition: idle after warm up




Fuel Injector Control Signal
- PCM terminal:

Ne Signal

- Oscilloscope setting: 1 V/DIV (Y), 20 ms/DIV (X), AC range.
- Vehicle condition: idle after warm up
