Transmission Speed Sensor: Service and Repair

INPUT/TURBINE SPEED SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [GF4A-EL]
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the air cleaner component, battery, and battery carrier.
3. Disconnect the input/turbine speed sensor connector.
4. Remove the input/turbine speed sensor.
5. Apply ATF to a new O-ring and install it on a input/turbine speed sensor.
6. Install the input/turbine speed sensor.
Tightening torque 7.8 - 11.0 Nm (79.5 - 113 kgf-cm, 68.6 - 98.0 inch lbs.)
7. Connect the input/turbine speed sensor connector.
8. Install the battery, battery carrier, and air cleaner component.
9. Connect the negative battery cable.
