SST

Disassembly/Assembly





1. Disassemble in the order shown in the figure, referring to Disassembly Note.
2. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly, referring to Assembly Procedure.


Disassembly Note
Needle Bearing





1. Remove the snap ring.
2. Remove the needle bearing by using the SST.

Assembly Procedure





1. Install the needle bearing by using the SST.
2. Install the snap ring.





CAUTION: Do not overexpand the seal rings when installing them.

3. Apply ATF to the seal rings and install them to the drum support.

Seal ring inner diameter: 66.5 mm (2.618 inch)





4. Apply petroleum jelly to the thrust bearing and install it to the drum support.
