FOREWORD [LJ4A-EL]





1. When the customer reports a vehicle malfunction, check the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) indication, HOLD indicator light flash, and diagnostic trouble code (DTC), then diagnose the malfunction according to following flowchart.
- If the DTC exists, diagnose the applicable DTC inspection.
- If the DTC does not exist, the MIL does not illuminate and the HOLD indicator light flashes, diagnose the applicable symptom troubleshooting.
