TRANSMISSION OIL REPLACEMENT [Y16M-D]





1. Put the vehicle on level ground.
2. Remove the filler plug A and the drain plug B.
3. Drain the oil into a container.
4. Wipe the drain plug B clean.
5. Install the drain plug B with new washer.
Tightening torque B: 27 - 48 Nm (2.7 - 4.9 kgf-m, 20 - 35 ft. lbs.)
6. Add the specified oil from the filler plug hole.
Specified oil
Grade: API service GL-4 or GL-5
Viscosity: SAE 75W-90 (All season) or SAE 80W-90 (Above 10°C (50°F))
Capacity (approximate quantity): 1.70 - 1.80 L (1.79 - 1.90 US qt, 1.4 - 1.58 Imp qt)





7. Verify that the oil is at the brim of the filler plug hole.
8. Install the filler plug A with new washer.
Tightening torque A: 27 - 48 Nm (2.7 - 3.9 kgf-m, 20 - 35 ft. lbs.)
