Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Electronic: Service and Repair

IDLE AIR CONTROL (IAC) VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the air hose and the throttle body. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3. Disconnect the IAC valve connector.




4. Remove in the order indicated below.
1. Bolt
2. IAC valve

5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
