Fuel Pump Disassembly/Assembly

FUEL PUMP (FP) DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY




1. Disassemble in the order indicated below.
1. Bracket
2. Rubber mount
3. Fuel hose (See Fuel Hose Assembly Note)
4. FP (See FP Assembly Note)
5. Fuel filter (low-pressure)
6. Pressure regulator
7. Fuel gauge sender unit

2. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.

FP Assembly Note




1. After installing the FP to the bracket, pull the pump down so that it is flush against the bracket and there is no gap.

Fuel Hose Assembly Note




1. Do not apply excessive side force when pushing the fuel hose onto the FP nipple.




2. Install the clamps as shown.
