Input/Turbine Speed Sensor Inspection

INPUT/TURBINE SPEED SENSOR INSPECTION
1. Remove the bracket and front pipe.
2. Disconnect the input/turbine speed sensor connector.

Note; Resistance value of the input/turbine speed sensor varies with temperature. Normal resistance value occurs when the temperature is 20°C (68°F), but it may be abnormal at high temperatures. Therefore, do not determine the resistance value only at 20°C (68°F).

3. Measure the resistance between the terminals of the input/turbine speed sensor.
- If not correct, replace the input/turbine speed sensor.
Resistance 56 - 680 ohms (20°C (68°F))
4. Connect the input/turbine speed sensor connector.
5. Install the front pipe and bracket.
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
9. Connect the input/turbine speed sensor connector.
10. Install the front pipe and bracket.
11. Connect the negative battery cable.
