Rear Bumper: Service and Repair

REAR BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. To remove the rear bumper, remove the trunk side trim, and rear combination light.




3. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

REAR BUMPER DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY

1. Disassemble in the order as indicated below.




1. Reflector
2. Retainer
3. Reinforcement
4. Shock absorbing foam
5. Aluminum pipe
6. Rear bumper fascia

2. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.
