Oscilloscope Patterns and Waveforms

INSPECTION USING AN OSCILLOSCOPE (REFERENCE)




Vehicle Speed Signal
- PCM terminal: 1C(+) - 4AN(-)
- Oscilloscope setting: 2 V/DIV (Y), 20 ms/DIV (X), DC range
- Vehicle condition: Driving speed 20 km/h [12.4 mph]




Engine Speed Signal
- PCM terminal: 2O(+) - 4D(-)
- Oscilloscope setting: 2 V/DIV (Y), 10 ms/DIV (X), DC range
- Vehicle condition: idle after warm up




HO2S Signal (Front RH/LH)
- PCM terminal: 31, 3M(+) - 3AB(-)
- Oscilloscope setting: 0.1 V/DIV (Y), 500 ms/DIV (X), DC range
- Vehicle condition: idle after warm up




SGC Signal
- PCM terminal: 4F(+) - 4D(-)
- Oscilloscope setting: 2 V/DIV (Y), 100 ms/DIV (X), DC range
- Vehicle condition: idle after warm up




IAC Control Signal
- PCM terminal: 4M(+) - 4D(-)
- Oscilloscope setting: 2 V/DIV (Y), 2 ms/DIV (X), DC range
- Vehicle condition: idle after warm up




Fuel Injector Control Signal
- PCM terminal
- No.1: 4Q(+) - 4AB(-)
- No.2: 4U(+) - 4AB(-)
- No.3: 4Y(+) - 4AB(-)
- No.4: 4AC(+) - 4AB(-)
- No.5: 4AG(+) - 4AB(-)
- No.6: 4AK(+) - 4AB(-)

- Oscilloscope setting: 2 V/DIV (Y), 1 ms/DIV (X), DC range
- Vehicle condition: idle after warm up




IGT Control Signal
