Radiator Cooling Fan: Service and Repair
FAN MOTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION1. Remove the engine cover.
2. Remove the battery cover.
3. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
4. Drain the engine coolant.
5. Remove the following.
1. Splash shield
2. Under cover
3. Battery, battery box
4. Air cleaner component, air cleaner insulator
5. PCM duct
6. Position the coolant reserve tank out of the way.
7. Disconnect the ATF oil cooler hose. (AT)
8. Remove the radiator and cooling fan component.
Part 1:
Part 2:
9. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
10. Install in the reverse order of removal.
11. Add engine coolant.
12. Inspect for engine coolant leakage.
